Kentucky Society of Washington Announces Details for 2025 Bluegrass Ball

Updated: Dec 18, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Kentucky Society of Washington announced today details regarding the quadrennial, non-partisan celebration honoring the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States.

The Society extends their invitation to attend the 2025 Bluegrass Ball with the best food, bourbon, and company the state has to offer. The Ball will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Washington Hilton (1919 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009), beginning at 5:30pm ET.

The Bluegrass Ball will feature a formal dinner with a dessert buffet as well as live music and dancing. The seated dinner will follow an exclusive Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Reception with world-renowned members of the Kentucky Distillers' Association, which will provide guests with the opportunity to taste a selection of Kentucky Bourbons and hear firsthand about their history and distilling process.

The black-tie event is anticipating an audience of over 1,000 including politicians, celebrities, Washington tastemakers, proud Kentuckians, and friends of Kentucky. Dignitaries, including Kentucky’s Congressional Delegation and the Governor, as well as federal Cabinet members historically attend the Bluegrass Ball.

As debuted at the previous Bluegrass Ball, the Society will again offer a “Dessert, Drinks, & Dancing” ticket option at a special price for those who skip the savory in favor of the sweet.

The 2025 Bluegrass Ball is open to both members of the Kentucky Society of Washington and non-members.
